On 4 February 2026, the BOOSTSCIENCE consortium convened its 3rd Monthly Online Meeting, hosted by the Hellenic Open University (Greece), project coordinator.
The meeting focused on strategic coordination, implementation progress, and the advancement of key work packages.
WP1 – Project Management & Coordination
Lead: Hellenic Open University (HOU, Greece)
The consortium reviewed:
- Grant Agreement updates and compliance aspects
- Progress on deliverables and milestones
- Financial coordination and pre-financing procedures
- Internal reporting timelines and quality assurance mechanisms
Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring alignment between operational activities and the approved work plan under the ERASMUS-EDU-2025-CBHE framework.
WP2 – BOOSTSCIENCE Strategic Roadmap
Lead: Leanspots (LNS, Spain)
Significant progress was reported regarding:
- Finalisation of questionnaires (English version and partner translations)
- Mapping European and Ukrainian labour market trends in Biology and Chemistry
- Skills gap analysis and job demand assessment
- Regional variation evaluation across Ukrainian partner institutions
- Preparatory data collection activities led by Ukrainian HEIs
These actions contribute directly to the evidence-based design of the BOOSTSCIENCE interdisciplinary master-level module and ensure strong labour market relevance.
WP7 – Visibility, Dissemination, Communication & Sustainability
Lead: Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University (ONU, Ukraine)
Updates included:
- Development of the project’s visual identity and promotional package (logo, banners, posters, infographics)
- Launch and coordination of official social media channels (LinkedIn and Facebook)
- Progress on the BOOSTSCIENCE website and upcoming publication milestones
- Planning of upcoming dissemination activities
The communication strategy aims to ensure transparency, stakeholder engagement, and long-term sustainability beyond the project lifecycle.
Strengthening Natural Sciences Education in Ukraine
The consortium reaffirmed its commitment to modernising higher education in Natural Sciences, with particular focus on:
- Digital transformation of Biology and Chemistry education
- Entrepreneurial and labour-market-oriented skills development
- Strengthening university–industry collaboration
- Supporting resilience and competitiveness of Ukrainian HEIs
BOOSTSCIENCE continues to advance its strategic roadmap, contributing to sustainable growth, employability, and innovation in Ukraine’s higher education ecosystem.
